The Minnesota Space Image Processing Center will utilize digitized satellite images and will manage a satellite image database for the State of Minnesota. All faculty and students with an interest in satellites will have applied research opportunities. Satellite imagery will be available to people with concerns in such areas as agricultural production, river and lake water volume and sediment changes, and forest productivity.
