In addition to his appointment as an Associate Professor of Biology, Dr. Fisher also serves as the Director of the Water Resources Center and the Executive Director of the Minnesota River Board. Dr. Fisher’s background is in fisheries management, environmental planning, and watershed assessment. Research foci are currently on watershed drainage issues, aquatic biota ecology in relation to impaired waters, and water quality credit trading.
