Welcome to the Construction Management Department! This department has a long history of providing students with the knowledge and experiences needed to be successful as a manager in construction and construction related businesses. We provide a welcoming and inclusive environment with energized faculty and staff focused on student success. Our bachelors program in Construction Management is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) and involves significant project-based learning opportunities. We have very active student clubs that encourage team building and participation in program related activities and competitions. Careers in Construction Management

A construction manager is a person who provides a professional service to a project's owner(s) to effectively manage the project's schedule, cost, delivery, safety, scope and function.

Through partnering with business and industry nationally and globally, many of our students are given the experience and opportunity to enter into rewarding careers in civil, commercial, residential, and industrial construction following graduation. Some of the types of positions our graduates go on to obtain include:

Credit Recognition for SREB Advanced Career Students

Minnesota State University, Mankato's Construction Management Bachelor of Science program, may grant one credit to students who have successfully completed all four courses of the Southern Regional Education Board’s (SREB) - Advanced Career (AC) pathway with class grade B. Find out more.

Mentors Program

Students in the Construction Management program have an opportunity to participate in a mentoring program with an industry representative.
