The Department of Computer Science proudly announces its Technical Writing Contest. This contest has been designed to recognize exceptional technical writing and encourage students to create publication-worthy documents. We invite all computer science, information technology, and information systems students to submit samples of writing from the 2008-09 academic year. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to submit.
Winners will be announced by the end of June. The top three entries will be published online as examples of quality writing on campus.
Prizes will be $100 for first place, $75 for first runner-up and $50 for second runner up.
Papers must be submitted to http://www.turnitin.com by 5:00PM on May 15, 2009 but we encourage you to submit things earlier.
