Combined Program

Graduate/Undergraduate Combined Program

The graduate/undergraduate combined program provides a pathway to receive both BS and MS degrees within five years. It is for current MSU students whose are enrolled in the Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering majors only. The program permits undergraduate students who have completed at least 2-3 years of undergraduate study to apply to the graduate program and double count up to 12 graduate credits toward both the undergraduate and graduate programs. The applicant’s undergraduate academic performance should reflect the potential to succeed in graduate-level coursework. The students who are interested in this program should apply for and get admitted into the combined program before the senior year starts. Both the four hundred level course EE4xx and five hundred level course EE5xx of the same topic need to be registered for credits double count.
