Engineers Make a Difference 

Four engineering programs are offered on-campus at Minnesota State Mankato: mechanical engineering, electrical and computer engineering and civil engineering. All are accredited by ABET accreditation is a national acknowledgment that the program meets only the highest academic and professional engineering standards. 

Engineering Technology is also offered on-campus at Minnesota State Mankato. These programs, all four-year degrees and ABET accredited, provide a unique option for students interested in technology. The programs are automotive engineering technology, computer engineering technology, electronic engineering technology and manufacturing engineering technology.The prestigious automotive engineering technology program is only the second program of its kind in the United States with the other located at Ferris State in Ohio.

Minnesota State Mankato also offers an off-campus Integrated Engineering program, a unique, project-based approach to earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. This program has two outreach options, Twin Cities Engineering and Iron Range Engineering, in which students will work with industry members and others on real-life design projects, with a focus on integrating technical and professional knowledge and competencies.These are both individually ABET accredited and were honored with the 2017 ABET Innovation Award.  For more information about Integrated Engineering, visit the Integrated Engineering Department.
