Admission to College

Admission to the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology is necessary before enrolling in 300- and 400- level courses. To be eligible for admission to the college, students must:

• Declare a major in the college
• Meet with an assigned advisor from the declared program
• Complete a minimum of 32 credits
• Achieve a minimum GPA of at least 2.0
• Satisfy English and mathematics competency requirements
• Complete additional requirements for their major

An application to the college may be obtained in the Advising Center Office, TR 125. Admission to the college does not guarantee admission to either Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering program. Admission to college does not guarantee that the student will be able to register for upper-division courses in individual programs.
