Dr. Jin Y. ParkDr. Jin Y. Park joined the Mechanical Engineering Faculty at Minnesota State University in Fall 2005. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. He received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining MSU, he was an assistant professor at Indiana Institute of Technology, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He also worked as a contract research scientist at Research Institute of Science and Technology (RIST), Pohang, Korea. His areas of expertise include: Experimental and Computational Mechanics of Solids, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics, and Advanced Polymer Composite Materials.
