Admission to College

The Manufacturing Engineering Technology Program is under the College of Science, Engineering and Technology (CSET). Admission to CSET is necessary before enrolling in 300- and 400-level courses. To be eligible for admission, students must complete the following:

• Declare a major in the college
• Meet with assigned advisor from the declared program
• Complete a minimum of 32 credits
• Achieve a minimum GPA of at least 2.0
• Satisfy English and mathematics competency requirements
• Complete additional requirements for declared major

An application to the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology may be obtained in the Advising Center Office, C125 Trafton Center. Admission to college does not guarantee entrance to a program. Admission to college does not guarantee that the student will be able to register for upper division courses in individual programs.
