In addition to meeting the general admission requirements of the College of Graduate Studies and Research, applicants must have an undergraduate degree in physics or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university. Students who do not hold an undergraduate degree in physics may be required to take additional coursework.
The GRE is not required. For international students, a minimum TOEFL score of 530 is required.

The College of Graduate Studies and Research will forward the applicant's file to the Department of Physics and Astronomy for admission recommendation. Admissions are made each semester and all application materials must be received by the deadline for the semester applied.
