Carl M. Egan Construction Management Honors Scholarship One award of $500 is available to a full time construction management student who shows strong leadership ability and financial need, and is recommended by the Construction Management Student Association. This scholarship was established by alumnus Anthony (Tony) J. Ulmen.
Charles E. Brown Memorial Scholarship One award of $500 will be awarded based on academic ability, participation in extracurricular activities, good character, and interest in entering the field of highway construction. Applicant must be majoring in Construction Management and be of sophomore or junior standing. This award commemorates the strong interest Mr. Brown manifested in the Construction Management Program at Minnesota State, Mankato.
College of Science, Engineering and Technology Scholarship At least ten awards ranging from $500 to $1000 will be given. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above, have completed at least two full semesters at Minnesota State, Mankato, and be declared a major in the college or in a pre-professional major with the college. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee.
Dean and Maxine Turner Scholarship One award of $1000 will be given. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled in any major in the college or in a pre-professional major associated with the college. Preference will be given to students who will be seniors in the fall. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee.
Hilding F. Lundin Memorial Scholarship One award of $1000 will be given to an applicant majoring in construction management, and will be awarded on the basis of academic ability, financial need, participation in extracurricular activities, good character, and an interest in entering the construction industry. This award commemorates the strong interest Mr. Lundin manifested in construction education at Minnesota State, Mankato.
Horizon Retail Construction - Cole Brastad Memorial Scholarship One award of $1500 will be given. Available to a full-time Construction Management student who h as completed 64 credits, been accepted into the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, and is a Minnesota resident.
Leas and Ruth Schwickert Family Scholarship Four to five awards totaling $10,000 will be given on the basis of academic ability, participation in extracurricular activities, financial need, good character, and an interest in entering the construction industry.
Leonard Miller, Lennar Corporation Construction Management Scholarship Four awards ranging from $1000 to $1500 will be given to declared Construction Management majors who have completed 64 credits at the time of scholarship application and have been officially admitted to the College of Science, Engineering and Technology.
Mary and Clifford Hendrickson Scholarship Two $500 awards are available. To qualify, a student must be a declared major in the College of SET and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee.
Retail Contractors Association Scholarship One award of $1500 will be given to a full-time student in Construction Management who demonstrates a declared interest in pursuing a career in commercial construction following graduation. Student must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA in the major and a 2.5 GPA overall.
Turning Pointe Scholarship One award of $1000 will be given to a single mother with dependent child(ren) who is a declared and accepted major in the College of SET with 32 credit hours completed. There is no minimum GPA requirement. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee. A separate application is required. Details
Xcel Energy Scholarship Five awards of $1000 are available. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have completed at least two full semesters at Minnesota State, Mankato, and be declared a major in the college or in a pre-professional major with the college. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee.
