B.S. Geology & Geography (University of Minnesota, Duluth)
Katie is working on her Masters degree in Geography at MSU. Her thesis research is focused on the Rapidan Reservoir in Blue Earth County, Minnesota where she is investigating the trap efficiency of a silted prairie reservoir. At the WRC, she is working on the Upper Cannon Lakes Excess Nutrients Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL). Specifically, she is studying inlet, outlet, and in-lake monitoring sites on Lake Jefferson, German Lake and Lake Volney.
