B.S. Winona State University 2008
Currently my research interests are focused on studying nutrient loading into shallow, eutrophic, water bodies in Southern Minnesota. A large portion of my time will be spent developing a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) for the Jefferson-German Chain of Lakes and Lake Volney over the course of the next two years. My studies revolve around these two water bodies; primarily, identifying where the largest sources of nutrients are coming from and offering some possible restoration solutions. Upon graduating from Minnesota State Mankato in December of 2010, I hope to have gained enough experience in the field of water quality to allow for a career in lake management.
