This research aimed to develop a microfluidic device capable of detecting biomolecules and indicating the specific type of molecule tested. Chemicals such as PDMS, Acetone, PVDF, ABS, and curing agents were utilized to fabricate the biosensor, which employs piezo resistive mechanism to detect the target molecule. The project was initially designed and simulated using Tinker CAD, Fusion 360, and COMSOL Multiphysics software. However, unforeseen circumstances prevented completion of the testing phase, resulting in an inability to evaluate the device's sensitivity and specificity to the target biomolecules, despite the successful fabrication of the physical device.
