Theoretical/Quantitative ecology
I am a disease, ecosystem, and theoretical ecologist. My research focuses broadly on within-host community ecology and the role of infection in host behavior and physiology. My work employs a variety of field, laboratory, and modelling approaches to better understand the transmission and ecological importance of disease across biological scales. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in working in the lab or collaborating.
I currently teach General Biology 1 (BIOL 105), Invertebrate Zoology (BIOL 305), and Diagnostic Parasitology (BIOL 420). I am always seeking enthusiastic undergraduates to engage in independent study (BIOL 499) and other research projects. Reach out if interested!
