Bio
Dr. Salivia is an Associate Professor, graduate research faculty and Graduate Coordinator in the Computer Information Science Department. He received a Masters of Science degree in Mathematics and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science, both at the University of Iowa. His primary research interests are in the area of Human Computer Interaction and Assistive Technologies. For more information about his research please visit https://salivia.info.
He helped found, and is currently in charge of, the User Experience (UX) Lab located in the Academic Computing Center in Wissink Hall. The UX Lab was created as a resource for the Minnesota State University, Mankato population as well as external clients and partners. The UX Lab fosters a user-experience design culture at the University.
His teaching interests include mathematics for computer science, computational theory, algorithms, game design & development and human computer interaction.
