Dr. Md Monzur Murshed is an Assistant Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Minnesota State University, Mankato. His research focuses on statistical methodology, statistical machine learning, predictive modeling, meta-analysis, survival analysis, and biomedical data science. He applies rigorous statistical methods to health research using SEER, PhysioNet, and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), with current work in cancer survival, health disparities, clinical outcomes, and interpretable machine learning.

Dr. Murshed also mentors undergraduate and graduate students in statistical research, programming, scientific writing, poster presentation, and manuscript development.
