The Spring semester presentations of the Civil Engineering Senior Design class will be held on Tuesday, April 11, beginning at 6:00pm, in the Ostrander Auditorium in the Centennial Student Union on MSU campus. 

This year it has been a design competition between the teams, development proposals, in which the teams have used creative and economic approaches in addition to their engineering skills to try to gain favor with the site owner, municipality and neighborhood.  We are working with the Coughlin Companies, Jordan Sands Division, on the Jefferson Quarry, which will be depleted and wrapped up for mining later this year or early next year.  

Creativity is huge; expect great things from the student teams as they present their final designs. Jordan Sands also has private developers working up ideas for the site, as they head towards mine closure and site repurposing.
