On July 12, NASA will make the first science observations ever obtained with the James Webb Space Telescope, a partnership with ESA (European Space Agency) and CSA (Canadian Space Agency), available to the world. These images will be made available at Webb Image Galleries on the morning of July 12.
If you want to make a leisurely review of these new images and spectra with a local astronomer, join Professor Michael Rutkowski who will discuss:
1) Just what these data are telling astrophysicists about the universe
2) What is in store for the future with JWST
and ...
3) any burning questions you might have about astronomy with JWST or in general, or what is happening at MNSU with JWST.
Invite your friends, come with parents or children. This is an all ages event open to all virtually. You can connect here https://fb.me/e/1PdrPSb7q
