Bio
Ellen Thompson is an assistant professor of Integrated Engineering in the Iron Range Engineering program. She received her PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2024 from the University of Michigan, where she studied geochemical interactions in the subsurface for sustainable energy applications. She has a broad range of teaching interests in general engineering and environmental engineering courses and enjoys developing engaging activities with real-world applications for her classroom.
