Dr. Jin Y. Park joined the Mechanical Engineering Faculty at Minnesota State University in August 2005.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. He received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia.
PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
His areas of expertise include: Experimental and Computational Mechanics of Solids, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics, Kinematic and Motion Design, and Mechanics of Advanced Polymer Composite Materials.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Dr. Park is a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers and American Society of Composites, and Korean Society of Manufacturing Technology Engineers. He has been serving as an Editor of the Korean Society of Manufacturing Technology Engineers Journal since 2014.
