Throughout the semester, the Physics and Astronomy department faculty, staff, and students sponsors a variety of events for the community beyond campus. These events take place on campus and provide an opportunity for everyone, of all ages and abilities, to experience physics and astronomy firsthand through demonstrations and lectures.

Thursdays at Standeford
Standeford Observatory is open to the public every Thursday for visitors to view the night sky and learn more about our place in the Milky Way galaxy.
