Hot Shots for Cold Climates
Hot Shots for Cold Climates is a partnership project between the Civil Engineering Department at Minnesota State University Mankato and MNDOT. This project works to research the success rates of snowplows as well as identifies the troubled spots on roads in the winter. Currently, students are faculty are working towards solutions for a more environmentally friendly method when dispursing salt and chemicals utilized traditionally during dangerous roadways.
