Minnesota State
Minnesota State Mankato belongs to the Minnesota State System which consists of 37 public colleges and universities with 54 convenient campuses throughout Minnesota.
Water Resources Center
The Water Resources Center serves as a hub for regional concerns about watershed quality throughout our state. Minnesota State University houses this center within the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology.
Minnesota State Engineering Center of Excellence
The Minnesota State Engineering Center of Excellence facilitates relationships by engaging academic institutions with industry and provides educational outreach by inspiring interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). These efforts shape the next generation of engineers who will solve real-world problems. The Engineering Center of Excellence fosters accessibility to the latest technologies, workforce programs, and post-secondary education. Collectively, advancing Minnesota’s engineering innovation and competitiveness by enhancing education, engaging industry and inspiring students.
Herbarium
The William D. Radichel Foundation's generous endowment provides funds to pay student assistant curators and plant collectors to continue the Herbarium at Minnesota State University, Mankato and allow the herbarium to expand the collection of plant specimens. Also, the facilities and resources have made it possible for students to collect and store the dried, pressed plants.
