CSET Pre-Professional Advising
The purpose of pre-professional Advising Tracks is to provide students with the intellectual and academic backgrounds needed to continue on to a professional program such as medical or dental school. Since pre-professional Advising Tracks are not majors, students should choose a major that will prepare them for professional school while also focusing on a pre-professional emphasis.
Once a student identifies a list of desired professional schools, it is recommended they compare that school's prerequisites to what is required in their Minnesota State University major plan of study.
