7:30 am Open for Set-Up CSU Ballroom
Exhibit Set-Up & Display and Safety Checks.
8:45 am Students report to their projects CSU Ballroom
Parents, mentors, educators, and visitors must exit the exhibit hall at this time. Students are expected to remain with their projects until formal judging ends.
9:00 am Project Judging Begins CSU Ballroom
Judges and registered students only
11:00 am Formal Judging Ends CSU Ballroom
All students are dismissed for lunch/free time. Exception: Paper presenters in CSU 201will present at 11:00

First floor of the CSU, has a number of food choices and places to sit if you brought your own lunch.

11:30 am - 12:30 pm Exhibit Viewing Open to Public CSU Ballroom
All are welcome in the CSU Ballroom to view exhibits.
1:00 pm Project Take-down and Clean-up CSU Ballroom
Remove projects and personal belongings and bring to your vehicle. Tables and chairs can be left at your site and will be removed by fair staff.
2:00pm Awards Ceremony Ostrander Auditorium
Ostrander Auditorium is located on the first level of the CSU. Students should be ready to come to the stage if they receive an award and available for pictures after the ceremony.
State Fair & ISEF Award Recipient Meeting CSU Ballroom
All State Fair & ISEF award winners stay in Ostrander Auditorium immediately following
the ceremony to accept advancement and for important event information.
Information for Students, Educators & Visitors
Awards Ceremony | The Awards Ceremony will be held in Ostrander Auditorium at 2:00pm.
Exhibit Hall Access | All are welcome to help students set up projects until 8:45 am | 9:00 am to 11:00 am the Exhibit Hall is CLOSED during judging (student and judge access only) | The exhibits are open to the public from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. We encourage visitors during this time.
Things to Do
The Maverick Bullpen in the lower level of the CSU is one of the nation’s largest university game rooms offering 12 lanes of bowling, 15 billiard tables, four gaming stations, a TV lounge, snack bar and more. Open to the public, there are costs to families to use resources in the Bullpen.
