Admission to the Automotive Engineering Technology Major
Admission to Major is granted by the department. Students must meet admission requirements prior to taking 300- and 400-level courses. This is typically done in the Sophomore year (after you have taken about 50-60 credits).
Minimum requirements for acceptance into the AET major include a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, completion of at least 32 semester credits, and completion of required courses (listed below) with a grade of “C” or better.
