Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. The society is divided into regional and district groups, each of which holds a convention annually. At the heart of every district and national meeting are student research papers presented in the style of graduate meetings. Awards are given for outstanding individual and chapter accomplishment. MSU-M established a local chapter in the 2007-08 academic year which was recognized as a RSO.

American Fisheries Society-Mankato Subunit

Field Ecology Club

The purpose of this organization shall be to come together as fellow science majors or people otherwise genuinely interested in the sciences or nature to learn about and enjoy the ideas of ecology and nature. Some activities that have been conducted in the past include; orienteering challenge, camping, hiking at Minneopa Falls, river clean ups, behind the scenes tour at the MN Zoo, trips to the boundary waters, and many more. Meetings are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays at 7 pm in CSU 203. If you like anything to deal with nature this is the club for you!

Pre-Physicians Club

Mission: The purpose of this club is to educate students with the interest of becoming a physician assistant. Students will be educated through guest speakers, community involvement, shadowing current physician assistants, seminars and conversations about classes or graduate school. This club will also focus on professional development of students by equipping them with skills, attitudes and commitmnet necessary to enter the practice of medicine as physician assistants and assume responsibility, with physician supervision, for the primary health caer needs of their patients. The club will offer students who are interested in the field of dentistry to meet with each other and share valuable insight on topics such as how to prepare to take the DAT, and how to apply to dental school. The club will also present member opportunities for community service.
