Our ECET graduating students are landing engineering jobs, e.g., our Bachelor of Science (BS) students accepted offers from Xcel Energy, NASCETechnology, Trane Technology, H2O Innovation, Rolls-Royce Solutions America, AMD, Itron, IBM and many more!. Our Master of Science Electrical Engineering (MSEE) student Olabode Ajayi will join Oracle as a Software Engineer, while Ebrima Marong will join Google in June 2022 after graduation. ECET BS graduates are receiving top offers from employers ranging from $100 to $140K and the top ECET MS graduates are receiving offers up to $170K. Congratulations to our graduating students, and we are sure with their knowledge and skills they will make great contributions to our society.
Electrical Engineering (EE) encompasses the research, development, design and operation of electrical and electronic systems and their components.
Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) is a technological field requiring the application of scientific and engineering knowledge and methods, combined with technical skills, in support of engineering activities.
Computer Engineering (CE) encompasses the research, development, design and operation of computers and computerized systems and their hardware and software components.
Computer Engineering Technology (CET) is a technological field requiring the application of scientific and engineering knowledge and methods, combined with technical skills, in support of computer activities.
The MSEE program offers students to complete advanced study in various areas of electrical engineering including RF/optical devices, communications, electrical power systems, microfabrication, renewable energy, IOT, robotics and UAV.
The graduate/undergraduate combined program provides a pathway to receive both BS and MS degrees within five years. It is for current MSU students whose are enrolled in the Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering majors only.
The Certificate program prepares graduates for careers designed for those who are looking to develop a base level understanding of IoT and Renewable Energy concepts, terminology and the relevant technical areas essential to professionals in the industry.
Our programs leading to the Bachelor of Science of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and Bachelor of Science of Computer Engineering (BSEC) are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET.
We offer state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities that provide access to high end instruments and cutting edge technologies.
