Dr. Bruce Jones is the Director of the Minnesota Center for Automotive Research (MnCAR). His interests are in the areas of hybrid electric vehicle, intermediate ethanol blended gasoline and the use of biogas in Diesel engines. He is also a member of the Minnesota Plug-In Hybrid Task Force, the Destination 2025 – Renewable Energy Analysis Team and the Underwriters Laboratory (UL) E85 Fuel Dispensing Pump Technical Panel.
Dr. Gary Mead is the Chair of the Department of Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering Technology. His research interests are in small engines, emissions, chassis dyno and FSAE chassis design, development and testing.
Mr. Sam Ertl is an Assistant Professor who is completing his Ph.D. in Energy Engineering from the University of North Dakota. His research interests are in the field of Chassis and Vehicle systems, Vehicle Data Analysis, and Engineering Education.
