Cell Culture Facility

The Department of Biological Sciences maintains a Cell Culture Facility that is used for both research and teaching. The facility contains two Class II biological safety cabinets (annually tested and recertified), two water-jacketed CO2 incubators and an inverted fluorescent microscope. The facility also contains centrifuges, a water bath, and refrigeration. An adjacent liquid nitrogen cryopreservation unit allows for long term storage of samples.
