Admission to the Mechanical or Civil Engineering Engineering Programs require their own application and criteria to be met. Learn more about each of the programs admission requirements below.
Admission to the Civil Engineering Program is granted by the department, and is necessary before enrolling in 300- and 400-level courses. Near the end of the sophomore year, students submit an application for admission to the civil engineering program. Applications to the program may be obtained from the Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering or downloaded here.
In order for a student to be able to enroll in upper division (300–and 400–level) mechanical engineering classes the student needs to be accepted into the ME program. During the sophomore year, students should submit an application for admission to the mechanical engineering program. Applications to the program may be obtained from the Mechanical and Civil Engineering Department Office or downloaded in PDF format.
